Grasys Marketing Director Vitaly Belousov participated in the It's High Time! program on the air of Radio 1. The air was dedicated to the state-of-the-art hydrogen production technologies and hydrogen generation units used in Russia.
Vitaly reported on the R&P Co. Grasys key business lines, and especially highlighted the company's contribution given the exit of many foreign producers from the market. Currently, the used in Russia hydrogen generation units are those of foreign manufacture that require regular maintenance, including replacement of such key components as membrane cartridges. Grasys is engaged in completing development and supply contracts for membrane cartridges intended to replace the foreign-made cartridges (Air Liquide, UBE, Air Products, etc.) used at the Russian oil refineries.
Grasys has brought to the market hydrogen concentration membrane units based on the own-produced membrane elements. Membrane hydrogen concentration units enable to produce up to 90-99.9% hydrogen-rich gas stream that can be returned to production operations. On many occasions, membrane units are used where the use of equipment based on other technologies is not feasible or ineffective from a technical and economic standpoint. Thus, upon successful test completion of the pilot hydrogen unit at a Russian fertilizer plant, a supply contract has been signed for an industrial-scale unit.
