Grasys nitrogen plant supplied to one of the largest Russian liquid cargo transshipment terminals in the Baltic region

Research-and-production company Grasys has manufactured and supplied membrane nitrogen plant of 300 m³/h capacity with 99% nitrogen concentration and 1 MPa pressure.

The nitrogen plant is designed for degassing road tankers when getting ready for scheduled repairs, and ensures explosion and fire safety of the manufacturing process. The tank is inflated with gaseous nitrogen while the liquid residue is removed. After the liquid residue has been drained, the gage nitrogen pressure is vented to a flare.

The major in process equipment and utilities of the nitrogen plant is mounted inside modular containers that are designed for operation in various climatic zones in line with the GOST 15150-69 requirements, and are equipped with automatic supply and exhaust ventilation, heating, fire- fighting, security-and-fire alarm systems, external, internal and emergency lighting. The modular containers are made in the required size and configuration. Subject to the capacity and customer requirements, the plants can be manufactured as a single-module type or multi-module type.
