The mobile nitrogen compressor station is a highly efficient, exceptionally reliable system for producing nitrogen at any pressure required by the Customer: low or high. Nitrogen compressor stations are available in containerised and trailer-mounted versions, as well as in self-propelled version on KamAZ and URAL motor vehicle chassis. All climatic versions can be provided.

The new generation of Grasys MVA series mobile nitrogen compressor equipment differs fundamentally from its Russian and CIS counterparts in terms of ease of use and high performance (capacity up to 2,000 m3/h, pressure up to 350 atm, nitrogen purity up to 99.9%).

General Description

Air compression technology, which was widely used in the CIS due to its high processability, is now prohibited by the “Safety Regulations in the Oil and Gas Industry” PB 03-576-03. The use of a mobile nitrogen compressor plant effectively solves the problem of applying a compression method using an explosion proof inert mixture.

Structurally, the nitrogen generation plant is a self-contained system consisting of a gas separation unit and a diesel compressor, available in chassis-mounted or portable versions. The equipment of the nitrogen compressor plant is covered by a metal body. One of the key components of the package, which largely determines its reliability and durability, is the gas separation unit based on hollow fibre membrane technology.

Grasys manufactures air mixture separation units based on the latest scientific advances in membrane gas separation. A key advantage of Grasys membrane nitrogen generation systems used in mobile nitrogen compressor plants is their high reliability, unpretentious operation and ease of maintenance.

The MVA series units and stations are recommended by the State Technical and Mining Inspectorate (Gosgortechnadzor) for drilling, development, repair and operation of gas and oil wells, exposure of product formations, repair and operation of pipelines and reservoirs. Mobile nitrogen compressor equipment is designed to generate a nitrogen-based inert gas mixture containing a maximum of 10% oxygen at a mixture pressure of 20 MPa from atmospheric air.
