Simulated fire exercised at the R&P Co. Grasys manufacturing facility

Joint exercises with the Central Administration for the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Moscow Region were held at the R&P Co. Grasys manufacturing facility in the city of Dubna. The primary objectives of the exercises included acquisition of skills and improvement of personnel readiness for practical actions in evacuation, fire growth prevention, its localization and suppression at the facility.

The activities proceeded in line with the approved plan that included several stages: theoretical instruction and practical classes for all and any staff categories, automatic fire protection system check, fire arising simulation in one of the areas, total staff evacuation drills, sending a message on inflammation and its further elimination by the arrived fire department.

Upon completing drills the results were summed up together with the divisional managers. It is worth mentioning that the training results proved to be broadly positive, all automatic fire protection systems worked out, the employees evacuated the building in an organized manner and gathered at the assembly point, the training goals and objectives were achieved.
