R&P Co. Grasys will supply adsorbents for PSA nitrogen production unit

R&P Co. Grasys has signed a contract for the supply of adsorbents (carbon molecular sieve, active alumina) for PSA nitrogen production unit for one of the largest petrochemical companies in Russia. The adsorbent will be used to produce technical-grade nitrogen from atmospheric air in adsorbers for its subsequent utilization in the company's production process. The PSA unit is designed to produce 99.9% pure nitrogen.

Operating condition: 1 adsorber in adsorption mode, 1 adsorber in regeneration mode.

The design service life of the adsorbents in each adsorber is no less than 10 years subject to normal operation of the nitrogen generators.

Apart from the adsorbent supply, the contract includes support services related to adsorbent loading / unloading, and the unit start-up.
