Full localization of PSA hydrogen purification technology for oil refineries

Hydrogen PSA is traditional equipment for hydrogen purification to over 99.9% purity required in oil refining processes. The use of adsorption technology (PSA) for hydrogen purification enables to produce up to 99.999% pure hydrogen from synthesis gases obtained by steam reforming of light hydrocarbons, and also from vent gases of refining processes.

Hydrogen units, most commonly western-made units, (Air Products, Air Liquide, Linde, UOP, and others) are running at the Russian oil refineries, and they require schedule service, modernization or routine replacement.
