R&P Co. Grasys is implementing a major EPC-contract of nitrogen-air unit supply for oil refinery

R&P Co. Grasys and OOO KNGK-INPZ (A.A. Shamara Ilsky Oil Refinery) signed a Supply Contract for air treatment and nitrogen production unit for air compression, purification, drying and processing aiming at providing users with service air, instrumentation air, and gaseous nitrogen.

Subject to the Contract terms, Grasys to perform a set of turnkey works for the facility Air Treatment and Nitrogen Production Unit. The scope of supply includes three centrifugal compressors, three nitrogen production units using the PSA technology featuring the total 5025 m³/h capacity, 99.99% purity, two service air treatment and instrumentation air treatment units of up to 5381 Nm3/h capacity, air treatment skid (filtration equipment, refrigeration dryers, adsorption dryers), tanks and vessels, two high-pressure compressor units, pumping equipment, instrumentation and automated control system equipment.

Earlier, R&P Co. Grasys has successfully implemented EPC-project for nitrogen-air compressor station construction for JSC Gazpromneft-ONPZ. The ​​responsibilities under the Contract included such stages as detailed engineering design, construction and assembly operations, supply and commissioning of two generators to produce in-house nitrogen of 1000 m³/h capacity and 99.999% purity each, five compressors and air dryers. The unit was commissioned in 2020, and is currently running reliably.
