R&P Co. Grasys provides equipment upgrading services

Grasys is engaged in upgrading of both previously supplied home-built equipment and third-party equipment. The purpose of such upgrade is to improve performance or purity of the gas produced by the currently available systems. The company’s production capacity enables to perform operations of any range and depth within agreed customer time-frames.

One of the successful examples is the upgrading project at the Slavyansk ECO site. R&P Co. Grasys have performed upgrading of the gas separation package and replacement of membrane modules.

Upgrading of the gas separation package comprises a number of key stages, in particular:

• Inspection and trouble-shooting: a comprehensive analysis of the current equipment condition while identifying tear-and-wear and potential problem areas.
• Design and planning: upgrading project development including replacement of the outdated components and adoption of the state-of-the-art technology,
• Equipment replacement: dismounting old components and installing the new ones.
• Commissioning: the updated equipment testing, setting parameters and placing in service.

Advantages of upgrading and replacing membrane modules:

• Increase in efficiency: new equipment enables to scale up the processed gas volume, which results in performance gain of the company.
