GRASYS innovative technology of natural and associated petroleum gas treatment was in the limelight at the «OIL & GAS-2012» exhibition

On June 25 through 29, the Moscow exhibition center «Expocenter» in Krasnaya Presnya presented the Russia’s largest specialized exhibition for the oil and gas complex «OIL & GAS 2012» which was attended by about 1000 companies from 36 countries all over the world.

GRASYS traditionally participates in the main industrial exhibition event with its large-scale exposition matching the company leadership position in the air and gas separation market. This year, GRASYS stand displayed the innovative industrial membrane modules designed for natural and associated petroleum gas treatment, the mobile nitrogen station in a block box tailor made for one of the Gazprom OJSC compressor stations, the Nitropower modular adsorption nitrogen generator and the oxygen adsorption generator with the system of oxygen refinement up to 99%.

The exposition of GRASYS aroused much interest among the representatives of the industry largest petroleum and petrochemical companies. Special tribute was paid to the workmanlike implementation of the membrane nitrogen station which the companies' representatives could inspect inside and test the new monitoring and control system developed by the GRASYS control and instrumentation division.

Still, the stand visitors were primarily interested in the exposition part devoted to the innovative membrane technology of natural and associated petroleum gas treatment developed by GRASYS. Representatives of various departments and divisions of oil and gas companies, industry R&D institutions were offered the opportunity to see at the stand by industrial membrane modules used by GRASYS in its hydrocarbon gases treatment projects and to receive answers to the relevant questions from the Research and Development Department and the Hydrocarbon Projects Department.

This was also the main topic of the company workshop held on the second day of the exhibition and attended by about 90 participants.
The topic of natural and associated petroleum gas treatment based on the GRASYS membrane technology aroused keen interest among the attendees who were active in asking the contributors about more details. The representatives of the company Engineering Center and Commercial Department also told about a few major «turn-key» projects implemented by GRASYS over the past 2 years, the advantages of the in-house CMS used in the commercial and individual projects and certain other developments.

Many representatives who registered for participation in the workshop failed to attend it for various reasons and later visited the exhibition with a request for repeating the contributions. For them and other professionals interested in boosting the efficiency of the hydrocarbon gas treatment process GRASYS will hold another workshop in autumn to tell about the technology capabilities and newly implemented projects.
